Pune, known as the cradle of education, has witnessed a series of strange incidents recently. Now, a shocking case has emerged from the same city. A student preparing for the MPSC exam who lived in Pune has been missing for the past three months. He falsely told his parents that he had secured a job in the ministry, and since then, he has vanished from Pune. Officials at the Vishram Bagh police station are conducting a further investigation into the matter.

According to information from the police, the missing young man is named Buddhbhushan Pathare, a 24-year-old originally from Vaijapur Taluka, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Buddhbhushan had been living in Pune for the past four years to prepare for the MPSC exams. He was residing with friends in a building near Ganjave Chowk in Pune and used to study at a library in Navi Peth.

In May, he suddenly called his parents and claimed that he had secured a job in the ministry. His parents were thrilled to hear this news. When they traveled to Mumbai to meet him and tried calling him, they found his phone switched off. Despite their extensive search, they could not locate him.

Complaint Filed with Police and a Twist...

Eventually, Buddhbhushan’s father reported his disappearance to the Vishram Bagh police station in Pune, describing the situation in detail. A new twist emerged when his parents received a WhatsApp message from his phone a few days ago. The message mentioned, “I am currently depressed.”

This has raised questions about where exactly the young man has gone, whether he is in contact with anyone, if he has had any disputes, or if there were any financial transactions involving him. The Vishram Bagh police are now conducting a further investigation into the case.
